Diamond information

The 4c's

Diamonds are natural products and no diamonds are exactly alike. Using the 4Cs you can classify and evaluate diamonds. The 4Cs of Gemstones relate to the stone’s colour, cut, clarity, and carat.

diamond quality

We carefully select our diamonds according to the best price-performance ratio. It is also very important that we know the origin of our diamonds and that they are 100% conflict-free.

Clarity: a term used to describe the inclusions on the surface of a gemstone. The fewer inclusions a diamond has, more valuable it is. Our diamonds show minor inclusions which are not visible to the naked eye.

Gemstones are not only measured by dimensions but also by weight. One carat, the traditional unit of measurement for gemstones, is approximately 0.2 grams.
Colour: The more transparent a stone is, the higher is its quality. Our diamonds appear colorless to the naked eye, which means that they fall into the category of high-quality diamonds.
Cut: A good cut can enhance the brilliance of a diamond. An excellent cut with a fine polish will show the brilliance of the stone to its best potential.

diamond Colour (transparency): The value of diamonds is heavily dependent on the colour classification. The more transparent the stone, more valuable it is. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA ) classifies diamonds in a colour scale ranging from D to Z, D being the most colourless diamond and Z having a very light colour. The best value for money is the G-H colour scale diamonds. Our diamonds correspond to the G-H colour scale. colour scale diamonds

Cut (Shape): It is due to the faceted cut that diamonds get its marvelous sparkle. It is especially important for diamonds to achieve a professional cutting because only this technique can get the diamond to sparkle. There are many types of cutting techniques. The most famous one is a brilliant cut with 57 facets. diamond cut

Clarity (purity): A gemstone's clarity is directly related to its rarity. In general, fewer inclusions or blemishes, higher the quality and price of the diamond. A flawless diamond is extremely rare and expensive as they have no inclusions or blemishes visible under 10x magnification. To find an ideal price/quality ratio, it is important to know that tiny inclusions in the VVS1 to SI2 clarity grading scale cannot be noticeable to the naked eye.

Carat (weight): The size of a diamond is measured by its weight. One carat is approximately 0.2 grams. The larger the stone, the rarer it is and higher the prices. The carat size unit should not be confused with the unit for measuring the purity of gold, known as karat.
